tutti
tutti
(pronounced too-tee) was a unique concept developed by dutch publisher
maurice keizer, who wanted to bring the joy of classical music to the
masses.
already
a hit in holland, keizer, along with former Grand Met CEO Barry Gibbons,
launched tutti, a first rate music cd produced in partnership with
a major record label and a four-color glossy magazine devoted to one
specific composer or genre, in the united states in the mid-90s, with
newman at the helm as editor-in-chief.
the
concept was to make the music more accessible by speaking to the readers
(a magazine "for the rest of us"), taking away the elitist feel,
and utilizing contemporary artists.
